This two seater, called as LSEV electric car, can be 3D printed and will be available in Asia and Europe in 2019 according to the co-founder of car manufacturer, Xiaofan Luo. Two startups namely XEV and Polymaker have 3D printed an electric car for Rs 5 Lacs that is approximately $7,500 and claimed it takes only three days to make.
The car has a top speed of 70 kmph and can travel up to 150 km on a single charge. All the components of the car were printed except for the chassis, seats, and glass.
Now the car maker is assembling a production line for the sleek vehicle which is expected to hit the market in April 2019 at a price which is yet to be revealed.
