Scientists and researchers from Australia have found a way to extract liquid silicate from waste glass to make regular and everyday products. Such innovations and inventions could save millions of tonnes of glass to go to landfill every year.

It can be used to make various products such as toothpaste, detergents, concrete sealers and fertilizers.

In addition to that it requires less energy, raw materials and capital, and that’s before you consider the reduced social and economic costs compared to land filling material
