Nokia has partnered with Bharti Airtel in India to test its services as part of its network startegy. Nokia aims to improve the performance of its existing network by taking help from Airtel to speed up its percentage of network and to meet its future demand.

The company calls this the front haul solution which is a link between base band unit and radio, which when modernized will help deliver high-speed and low latency 5G services. Nokia’s new converged front haul transport solution will help bring down fiber requirement through multi-channel bi-directional transmission on a single fiber.

Since Airtel has achieved the benchmark of acquiring the latest network services, it was incredibly beneficial for Nokia to partner with Airtel.
