Rs 94 Crores Hacked From Cosmos Bank

India’s one of the oldest cooperative bank in India, the Cosmos Bank In a suspected case of cyber attack, was allegedly hacked and as per FIR over Rs 94 crore has been transferred to bank accounts outside the country.

According to the complaint lodged by Bank officials at Chatushrungi PS in Pune, thousands of debit cards data might have been stolen by suspected cyber-criminals while malware attack.

As per the First Information Report,  the suspected malware attack on the ATM switch was about Rs 80.5 crore which was initially transferred to a foreign bank in 14,849 transactions of the debit card, and another Rs 13.9 crore transferred in a SWIFT transaction.

Cyber cops are investigating the case.
