Next day, Taapsee Pannu mocked Modi’s candle at 9 PM idea by writing Yay, yay, new task is here as seen on her twitter handle.

Taapsee’s tweet did not go well with the majority of citizens. Amid mixed reactions, there were abusive roastings and some trolled the actress for her ‘elitist’ behavior.

Taapsee Pannu Clarifies Her Reaction On PM Modi’s ‘9 PM 9 Min’ Call
In a latest interview with a leading News Agency on Twitter, Taapsee Pannu was asked, PM Modi gave a task of lighting diyas at 9 pm last month, and your tweet is reported as sly dig which was understood as you mocked the task. Do you think people misunderstood it?”
Clarifying on the same, Taapsee replied saying, “It is said that one’s aptitude defines their point of view and thinking. I wrote that happily because that was my instinct and inclination, everyone else wrote whatever they wanted according to their instincts.”
Meanwhile, in her kitty, she has a slew of movies at different stages of production. She has Vinil Matthew’s murder-mystery Haseena Dillruba, Rahul Dholakia’s Shabaash Mithu, Aakash Batia’s Looop Lapeta, among others in her basket. All of which are slated to hit the screens in the year ahead.
