Pancake batter is easy to make by using just 4 ingredients. These ingredients are Flour, Sugar, Salt and Eggs. There are many recipe methods for pancake batter. Here is the standard recipe.
275g Flour (Refined not wheat flour)
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
Yeast to ferment – 10g
Milk – 50ml
Water to add to get desired batter consistency
Flavor or essence to deviate the standard taste
Baking powder – 2table spoon
Baking soda – 1table spoon
Sift the flour in a mixing bowl.
Add eggs and milk.
Add sugar, salt and yeast and flavor/essence if any,
Add baking powder, baking soda.
Mix this mixture adding water to it.
Leave it uncovered and let it thicken. Adjust thickening till flowing consistency.
TIP: Pancake Will Turn Out Crispy And Brown If Batter Is Left Overnight.
Mix the thick batter till flowing consistency
Trial a pancake by pouring little batter on a pre-heated griddle if not on hot-plate.
Eat and see for adjusting seasoning.
Pour a ladle of batter on to the hot plate, when you see spores dry, turn over.
Cook till golden brown.

You can buy yeast from supermarket, if you don’t find the yeast, ask in any bakery. All the breads have yeast. Bakers use yeast for fermentation of bread dough.
